Have you ever wished for a more private yet convenient way to share files?
Imagine being able to send marketing materials to your agency, videos to your editor or your kid’s birthday photos to family. Welcome to Secure Links from Sync.
Send any file or folder to anyone, privately, even if they don’t have a Sync.com account.
When you create a Secure Link, an attractive page with your folder listing or file download page is created. If you share photos, a secure web-based photo viewer is included for effortless enjoyment.
Simply hover over the folders and files in your Sync.com account, you will see a link icon. Click on that link icon and a Secure Link is instantly created.
Copy and share that link. That’s all it takes.
Secure Links are different for one important reason: it’s private by design – even we can’t see what you share.
All Secure Links are encrypted and a password key is required to view the content.
When you create a Secure Link, the password is embedded in the link for convenience. For extra security, you are given the option to send the link and password separately.
You decide how private or public the link should be.
Secure Links are read-only. No need to worry about others deleting or editing files. Any changes you make to the folder or file are reflected automatically. And if you wish to delete the link, it’s a click away.
In general, share carefully. For example, if you post the Secure Link, with the key, publicly, anyone with that link can view those files.
There are many situations where a Secure Link will come handy:
Secure Links makes sharing a whole lot easier and with privacy in your control.
Use Secure Links to send files quickly or when you wish to offer read-only access. It’s a great alternative to sending large files by email.
