How do I purge my files?

To purge a deleted file or folder from the trash can:

  1. Sign in to the web panel.
  2. Navigate to the location of the deleted file or folder and click Show deleted files from the file menu. For example, if you were missing a file in a particular folder, you would navigate to the folder first.
  3. Click the (ellipsis) icon beside the deleted file or folder.
  4. Select Purge.
  5. Confirm and click Purge.
  6. Click Hide deleted files to show active files.

Notes:

Purge permanently deletes all file and file meta from Sync’s servers and data center locations. Once a file is purged it is unrecoverable.

Purging affects files in the Sync account of the user purging data. To purge files across share folder member Sync accounts, the share folder owner must un-share, using remote wipe feature.
